CHALLENGE: SC Innovation, Korea's leading total beauty salon, sought a brand identity and packaging for their new hair loss treatment line, After 6, the goal was to communicate the product's innovative, research-backed formula with a modern, scientific aesthetic.
SOLUTION: I crafted a sophisticated and results-oriented brand narrative, leveraging the scientific expertise behind After 6. This translated into a modern visual language using clean lines, high-contrast colors, and subtle scientific imagery.
NAMING: "After 6" captures the essence of the product's efficacy and visible results in just 6 weeks, this concise name conveys efficiency and sets clear expectations for users.
BRANDING & PACKAGING: a cohesive visual language blends modern minimalism with scientific precision.
- Label design, both shampoo and ampoules utilize sleek labels affixed to their respective containers, the shampoo features a plastic matte semi-opaque bottle, while the ampoules reside in transparent glass, allowing for product visibility.
- Scientific influence, the packaging incorporates a burette design element, further reinforcing the product's research-driven approach.
- Luxury boxset, encased in a matte white luxury cardboard box, the "After 6" branding takes center stage with a holographic accent, adding a touch of sophistication, the boxset houses 30 ampoules, featuring a unique weekly regimen: 4 vital ampoules (white caps) and 1 enhance ampoule (orange cap).
RESULT: this strategic combination of branding and packaging effectively communicated the product's innovative scientific and efficacy, the success was undeniable with the entire stock sold out before the 6-week mark.
