DESIGN CHALLENGE: this project (via Fiverr) involved creating packaging for Elevated Mixers, a brand specializing in organic, cold-pressed juice cocktail mixers, Elevated Mixers' mission is to empower anyone to be a home bartender, crafting delicious and healthy cocktails for friends and family.
The challenge was to design packaging that reflected the brand's dual focus: natural, organic ingredients and the exciting experience of creating cocktails at home.
SOLUTION: I opted for a clean and minimalist approach, the core of the design is a simple, transparent bottle that showcases the vibrant colors of the organic juices within, this transparency emphasizes the natural and healthy aspects of the product.
A TOUCH OF MIXOLOGY: a clean white label wraps around the entire bottle, this creates a canvas for a single design element, a burst of color that evokes the act of mixing a cocktail.
The specific color on each label varies depending on the mixer flavor (Old Fashioned, Tropical Spice, Margarita, Classic Sour, and H.O.P.E.), offering a subtle hint at the taste profile inside, this design choice achieves two goals:
- Focuses attention, the minimalist approach ensures the customer's eye is drawn to the splash of color, symbolizing the fun and creativity of mixology.
- Transcends the juice, the white label elevates the packaging beyond a simple juice bottle, hinting at the exciting cocktail experience within.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:the packaging design also incorporates clear messaging highlighting the product's key selling points: organic ingredients, delicious cocktails, and the ability to create over 10 low-carb mixed drinks per bottle.
Overall, the design for Elevated Mixers creates a visually appealing and informative package that effectively communicates the brand's core values: health, convenience, & the joy of crafting delicious cocktails at home.
