"Parisian Panache: Exploring fashion & luxury in the city of light Winter program" flyer design

OBJECTIVES: as the Art Director, I was tasked with redesigning the flyer for Parisian Panache: Exploring Fashion & Luxury in the City of Light, a winter program offered by the IGS Group in partnership with The American Business School of Paris.
The program, running from January 13 to 21, 2025, offers participants an immersive nine-day experience in the heart of French fashion, with a curriculum that includes expert-led classes and workshops on luxury marketing, branding, and customer management, as well as exclusive cultural visits to iconic sites such as the Dior Gallery, Yves Saint-Laurent Museum, and the Palace of Versailles.

The initial flyer presented by the internal graphic team fell short of expectations.
Despite the prestigious nature of the program, the design appeared cheap and lacked the sophistication needed to represent such an exclusive offering.
The layout was poorly balanced, with too much white space, non-harmonious fonts, and colors that did not align with the high-end theme.
The flyer failed to communicate the luxury and exclusivity associated with a program taking place in Paris, the city of lights and fashion.

VISION: I was brought in to create a completely new flyer that would reflect the premium nature of the program and appeal to prospective students interested in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
To capture the essence of luxury, I chose a color palette of deep gray and gold, evoking sophistication and elegance.
Premium fonts were carefully selected to enhance the modern, upscale feel, and vibrant, high-quality images of Parisian landmarks and fashion icons were incorporated to visually communicate the allure of the program.

The new design transformed the flyer from a basic two-sided format into an expanded four-page layout, offering more space to showcase the program's highlights.
The revised flyer now effectively promotes the program’s unique blend of luxury fashion education and cultural immersion, ensuring it aligns with the expectations of potential participants and conveys the prestige of the experience.
